ACLA / CLANZ Legal Benchmarking Report
The Australian Corporate Lawyers Association (ACLA) and the Corporate Lawyers Association of New Zealand (CLANZ) recently released the 2010 version of the Legal Department Benchmarking Report to corporate leaders in Australia and New Zealand responsible for the legal function in their organisations. An on-line survey was conducted to gather a vast array of information on how legal business is conducted in corporations / government departments.
The report provides benchmarking data designed to help manage legal departments.

Corporate Counsel Exchange
The East Coast Corporate Counsel Exchange (www.corporatecounselexchange.com) , held on April 25 - 27, 2010, was an invitation-only gathering for C-level in-house legal executives from America’s leading corporations. The Exchange consists of highly crafted, executive level conference sessions, interactive "Brain Weave" discussions, engaging networking opportunities and strategic one-on-one advisory meetings between solution providers and delegates. Included was a distinguished speaking faculty from JetBlue Airways, Iberdrola USA, Microsoft, and The Hartford amongst others. Catalyst Consulting is co-sponsoring the event and Richard Stock is serving as a faculty member for the program.
